The Seacoast Soap Company is based right on the NH Seacoast and has been producing soap and bath products since 2009. Our company philosophy is to work with nature and the environment to bring you the very best products that you can be confident are natural and have not damaged the space we live in. People are demanding simpler, more natural products with less chemicals and fulfilling this need is our key mandate. Two of our soaps contain no more than three ingredients. Plain, Pure and simple!
The idea of making soap came from friends, who happen to be fellow soap makers. They taught us all about the types of soap, herbs and Spices that we had never seen before. This was also the first time we had seen soap with natural ingredients actually in the soap. Lavender flowers, Herbs and Spices could be seen throughout the bar. This was the inspiration for our soaps and how we now have over 25 types (and growing...).
We specialize in soaps made from Pure Olive oil, which is a (low lathering soap) to our new soap mixed with Coconut oil and Palm oil to give you a more bubbly lathering soap. We also have a wonderful Goats Milk Glycerin Soap made using vegetable Glycerin. The majorities of our soaps are low fragrance (or have none at all). This is due to the fact that we realize that there are many places that are scent free and many people prefer to have a lower scented product. We have added some soap's that use fragrance oils. This is due to the fact that some essential oils such as Sandalwood are sometimes obtained using methods that are harmful to the environment. Also, some essential oils such as lemon or orange often fail to hold their scent in cold process soap whereas fragrance oil has been formulated to withstand the saponification process. We only use fragrance oils that are paraben free and are 100% skin safe.
